Here’s an early 1970s Gibson SG Bass copy Made in Japan by Aria HB (Hans Bauer). We cannot estimate the exact year of manufacture but it’s in the midst of Lawsuit Era.
The bass has just been set up and completely overhauled—including the electronics—by our luthier. The instrument has a very distinctive tone because it doesn’t feature a classic Mudbucker-style pickup, but rather a single-coil pickup housed in a larger enclosure.
